The cost of our solution depends on the testing frequency and the individual requirements of the mine, which are very different from site to site. To understand your future savings and approximate costs better, feel free to check out our financial value calculator or talk to us.
We offer worldwide shipping. Our solution is non-hazardous and can be shipped anywhere globally without any shipping restrictions.
We offer for all our products a replacement warranty. Contact us at support@cyanoguard.com to report a problem and we will help you as soon as possible.
Salinity has no impact on test results. Some of our partners have rather high salinity in the slurry, and it does not undermine the accuracy of the test results when using our solution. Likewise, commonly interfering metals like copper and zinc do not affect our test results. In some cases, higher concentrations of free sulfide may affect measurements, but our method can be adapted to remove sulfides before the measurement.
Our solution works with virtually liquid (aqueous) samples. You can even test slurries with up to 60% solids weight for weight (w/w) directly without a prior, lengthy prefiltration procedure.
Our test cartridges can be customised according to the desired concentration range and measurement resolution (standard ranges are 0-1 ppm, 1-30 ppm, 10-100 ppm, 30-300ppm, 50-500 ppm).
Yes. The upload works anywhere if you have access to a mobile network or Wi-Fi network. If neither is available, we set up a UHF network for your convenience.
The cartridge contains a proprietary Vitamin B12 molecule which is non-hazardous. Given the high sensitivity of the molecule and our solution, the cyanide concentration needed to make a measurement is very low (1.0 mL) and therefore, will not pose any health hazard to the operator. There are no special disposal considerations unless specified by local regulations. We also encourage our clients to return the cartridges to us for recycling.
Our basic package includes 15 user accounts. We can customize it according to your needs.
Yes! That's not only possible but also one of our main advantages. Off-site metallurgists or engineers can be provided with access to the data when they consult different mines remotely and concurrently.
We support standard process control platforms like ABB Ability, Siemens' SIMATIC and ThyssenKrupp's POLCID but we can also customize the data integration according to the platform you use.
The data are secured on our CyanoSmart device then transmissed and stored via encryption on our Cyano.iO platform using a PKI architecture. All data are stored in a fully redundant and secured backup system. Only users approved by the client have access to the platform. You can view the permission settings at any time by looking at the settings section in our online platform. User(s) with administrative permissions can remove other users from the list, but new users can only be added with the help of a CyanoGuard representative, subject to approval on the client's side. Access to our Cyano.iO platform is password-protected and any third parties are excluded from obtaining the data, unless otherwise specifically requested by a client in writing. CyanoGuard employees don't have direct access to clients' information unless it's needed for better use of our technology and explicitly being allowed by a client (i.e. guided access for assistance, to resolve customer care inquiries, etc.).
Our cyanide monitoring system requires no user input, calibration, manual calculation or preparation of reagents. Additionally, our handheld device can identify errors in the measurement and prompt the operator to repeat the measurement. Unlike, traditional methods like silver nitrate titration, our solution is also less prone to interferences from other metals and compounds like copper, zinc, iron, nickel, silver, thiocyanate, carbonates or samples with pH below 12.
The solution is pre-calibrated and ready-to-use upon delivery. Our solution also has an internal calibration against a defined standard. With every measurement, the device analyses the colour change and uses an AI-based algorithm to determine the calculation of free cyanide. The device also performs a blank measurement with every actual measurement to account for any sensor drift or any other potential error.
The training takes 15 minutes per operator. In a standard setup, the entire solution is up and running within 24 hours.
Most mines can. There are few criteria a mine should fulfil though: It should be an operating mine, which has a cyanide-based leaching process and mobile network coverage on-site. We also focus now on the mines who measure cyanide in concentrations up to 500 ppm.
No, participating mines have no obligations to CyanoGuard during or after the pilot program. Nevertheless, one criterion to the program is to provide technical inputs and readiness to share the information relevant to our solution during the four weeks of the pilot program. There is no obligation to enter into separate commercial agreements during or after the pilot program. To find out more about the pilot program, please feel free to download further information here.
The first and foremost benefit is the opportunity to test and see how our solution works and what kind of positive impact it brings to your operations. Upon fulfilling the criteria and signing a pilot program agreement, you will receive from us the product kit, remote onboarding and access to web training. During the four weeks of the pilot program, we will support you on gathering data on your cyanide levels and consult on how you can further optimise your cyanide concentration to achieve results that impact both your top- and bottom-line performance.
Yes. Alcoholic beverages distilled using drupes (stone fruits) need reliable monitoring solutions that eliminate the dangers of cyanide intoxication for the consumer. We have designed our device to support the implementation of a strict quality control regime and transparent food safety protocols. While most cyanide testing methods require lengthy sample preparation for ethanol-containing samples, our technology can handle most alcoholic liquor and spirit samples natively without any preparation.
Yes. Besides fresh full blood samples, our solution can be used to test urine samples, determine the cyanide level and identify potential cyanide intoxications. Contact us.
Yes. Our solutions can be applied to determine cyanide levels and identify cyanide a cause of death table-side without lengthy procedures. Contact us.
